Founded in 2016, Kitab Sawti began initially as a project designed to help Syrian refugees in Swedish schools. Today, Kitab Sawti is the world’s largest Arabic audiobooks library. Through a user-friendly smart-phone app, we grant Arabic speakers access to bestselling and award-winning titles in an audio format. With their headphones on, our users are able to travel to a parallel universe; in a moment of entertainment, acquiring knowledge at only one finger-press away. We believe in the power of stories that change lives, words that inspire, and literature that builds bridges between cultures and generations. By unleashing this power in a new format to a growing audience, the potential of every book in our library is completely transformed.

Based in Dubai office, as a CRM Manager you’re working with the rest of the Marketing team to make sure that we optimize the life time value of our users. Your focus will be on communicating with our users to help them optimize the value of their Kitab Sawti experience. Primarily you work with conversion and retention in the sales funnel and you are data driven while being a team player. We sometimes work with agencies, but you are expected to be super hands-on work yourself. The position requires some travelling and reports to the CMO.



  • Develop strategies and testing agenda for triggered emails, direct mail and push notifications (creative, offer/pricing, test opportunities).
  • Work with our content and creative teams to design and launch complex automated campaigns to increase signups and customer lifetime value while reducing churn.
  • Collaborate with data science, market research & marketing analytics teams to understand consumer segmentation / behavior & identify consumer insights to leverage in lifecycle marketing.
  • Conduct analyses to provide insights on performance and consumer behavior through data including A/B test results, campaign summaries, ad hoc analyses in Analytics systems. Research capabilities to improve reporting abilities.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the competitive space, the consumer, and how to leverage email and push notifications to meet both brand and performance marketing goals.
  • Play-booking and documentation, keeping in mind that the learnings from today will pave the way for growth.
  • Partner with our product, operations, communications, and business development teams to ensure communications are on-brand and impactful.



  • Start-up or an international top-tier company experience, preferably with an online subscription-based business model.
  • Operational experience from CRM channels such as e-mail and push notifications.
  • Experience with conceiving and running digital campaigns with specific goals and reporting on results and learnings.
  • Hands-on experience with key tools such as Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Amplitude and/or similar.
  • You are detail oriented, structured in your approach to work and apply a rational mindset.
  • A strong understanding of the startup mentality.
  • You always put the customer first.
  • Strong analytical, structured problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • 100% execution-minded.
  • Fluent in English, written and oral as an essential.
  • Fluent in Arabic, written and oral is a plus.
  • A university degree with proven academic excellence.
